North Captiva Island is about five miles off
the mainland from Pine Island. From Southwest Florida International
Airport, it’s a trip of about an hour. Reservations for
ground and water taxi are necessary.
Taxi or Limo service is available to pick up
your party, allow you to shop for supplies and groceries,
then deliver you to Pine Island Marina, where the water taxi
takes you on scenic journey through the waters of Pine Island
Sound.
Ground Taxi fares are around $60.00 each way
from the airport and water fares to upper Captiva average
$35.00 per person round trip, depending on the season and
the number of people in your party. We can arrange all of
these reservations for you, but payment for transportation
is the Guest’s responsibility. If you would like luxury
properties to handle your transportation needs please inform
the agent when making your reservations. Alist of vendors

Closest Airport
Southwest Regional International Airport in
Fort Myers is the closest airport to North Captiva Island.
If your vacation plans include other Florida destinations
such as Orlando, Tampa, Miami or Sarasota, you can easily
drive from those sites to Pine Island for water taxi service
to North Captiva Island.

may be booked via their website or by phone. They will also

Pine Island Taxi will meet you at the baggage
claim of the airport, take you to do your grocery shopping,
and deliver you to Pineland Marina on Pine Island to take
the water taxi (1-888-777-9653 or 239-283-777). It is important
to call ahead for reservations for this service.

you to and from the airport and other locations. Contact 1-800-833-4473

Water Taxi Services

is located at 16501 Stringfellow Rd. Bokeelia, FL on Pine Island.
This is where the water taxi service originates. Parking is
available at the marina (daily and weekly rates) for your cars
(rental or your own). It is from this marina that you board
the water taxi and ride across to paradise at North Captiva

Island Girl Charters is your gateway
to North Captiva Island providing ferry service every other
hour between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. To book your space
